Since all children are different and have different needs, a pre-group consultation is a one hour session which allows you to discuss specific concerns and gain valuable insights, strategies and recommendations.

The consultation is divided into two sections; the majority of the session involves taking a thorough history to assess your child's academic, social, emotional and behavioral functioning; discussing the results of the Emotional Literacy checklist and determining the goals that you have for child. The remaining time is spent individually with your child so they can get to know me in a relaxed no pressure atmosphere. This involves a general chat about school, friends, interests etc. Together we will determine whether individual, group sessions or a combination of both would be best for your child.

A standard fee of $140 for a one hour consultation applies (Private health fund and Medicare rebates available if applicable).
