24 Jan Confident Kids to survive Bullying
Bullying in schools can have devastating and lifelong effects on victims.
Ashgrove-based Psychologist Larne Wellington was so concerned by the numbers of her clients experiencing bullying and friendship issues she developed Confident Kids as a survival guide.
“Most schools today have some type of anti bullying code in place., but parents constantly tell me that the problem is still just as pervasive and they need support and assistance for their child beyond the school environment” says Larne.
Confident Kids ® + teens is an innovative small group program for 5 to 14 year olds. The aim of the program is to boost confidence, emotional resilience, social skills and brain power. Children discover their strengths, and build resilient thinking skills to reduce stress, anxiety, worry, or negative thinking.
